The Cleveland Indians have had quite a few very good pitching performances throughout the minor league system this season. One such pitcher who has had a good year is High-A Carolina right-handed starter Adam Plutko. Several new players from the recently completed MLB Draft are started to settle into the Indians minor league system. One of those players is right-handed pitcher Jordan Carter who was selected by the Indians in the 22nd round out of St. Joseph’s University (PA) and signed just a few days after the draft. Tony Lastoria recently spoke to Carter about his debut and the transition to professional ball.

Probably the most fascinating person in the entire Cleveland Indians organization to talk to is Johnny Goryl. He is not a Hall of Famer, was never an All Star and spent limited time in the big leagues as a player, but what makes him so interesting is his long tenure in the game as this season marks his 64th year in the game.
