2013 Minor League Spring Game Recap: March 18th
It was a busy day for me on Monday at minor league camp. I spent the morning watching batting practice and bullpen sessions, and then conducted several player interviews that will pop up on the site and at FoxSportsOhio.com over the next several days.
In the afternoon I ventured over to the big league game just to get a look at Ubaldo Jimenez. He was okay, but he still struggles with his command and his velocity was only at 87-91 MPH all day, so there are some concerns there for sure. I also had a chance to talk to a lot of fans, readers of the site, and family members for players, which is always the highlight of my day. I left after the third inning and went over the Reds complex to see Carolina and Lake County for a few innings, and then finished the day at the Indians' complex to see the final three innings of Columbus and Akron's games.
