2013 IPI Positional Rankings: The Right Fielders
Today we continue our 2013 prospect coverage here at the IPI with another positional rankings piece on the Cleveland Indians farm system. This time we will review the right fielders.
With the Indians recent trade of outfielder Shin-Soo Choo they have a glaring hole they need to fill in right field in the short term and long term. At the moment they are pursuing several free agent options to fill that need both in the short term and long term because they do not have a capable internal solution to fill a corner outfield need on a regular basis this coming season.
The Indians are not very deep with true right field prospects, but they have a few interesting prospects in the lower levels that are moving up. Like with most of the positions profiled, the Indians strength at the moment is clearly in the lower levels.
