History: Ramirez was signed by the Indians as a free agent out of the Dominican Republic in November of 2009. He did not play in 2010 due to injury and made his professional debut in 2011 stateside at rookie level Arizona. He finished in the Top 15 of the Arizona League in hitting in 2011 (.325) and last season he finished 1st in the organization in hitting (.354).
