History: Araujo was signed as a free agent in July of 2007 out of Venezuela. He missed the 2009 and 2010 seasons due to surgery and complications with his recovery from Tommy John surgery. Last season he finished tied for 1st in the Midwest League in games started (28), 5th worst in losses (10), 3rd worst in ERA (5.00), 10th in innings pitched (135.0), 4th worst in walks (61), and tied for 5th worst in WHIP (1.50).
