History: House was selected in the 16th round of the 2008 Draft out of Picayune High School (MS). He had a commitment to Tulane University and was considered unsignable but was signed for $750,000. He participated on his high school swim team as a way to stay in shape in his baseball offseason and helped his swim team win a state championship in 2006. Last season he finished 8th in the organization in ERA (3.56), 4th in wins (10), and 3rd in strikeouts (116).
