History: Rodriguez was signed by the Indians as an undrafted free agent in September 2009 out of the Dominican Republic. Last season he finished 14th in the Midwest League in runs (75) and 9th in strikeouts (133). He suffered a hamate injury in the spring of 2011 which delayed the start of his season by a few months.
