2012 Transaction Rundown: AZL Indians Year in Review

You're reading this, so the Maya were wrong (in reality, both misunderstood and wrong, but this is Indians Prospect Insider, not Pre-Colonial Meso-American History Insider, so I won't go into details here).  Where was I, oh yeah, the transaction year-in-review...

This is the final leg on our nearly two-month long journey through the roster movement of the past season in the Cleveland Indians organization.  Today, we wind up our journey where this whole odyssey started back in February:  The Cleveland Indians Player Development Complex in Goodyear, Arizona.  Known better to most fans as the Indians' spring training home, it is also home to the subject of today's final transaction review:  the rookie-level Arizona League Indians.

Like it's short season cousin in the Mahoning Valley, this list is short at only 34 moves (9 relating to Minor League Rehab Assignments, something you don't see with any of the franchise affiliates).  However, this short list packs a big punch in terms of impact as it includes six professional debuts (including that of former Lorain County Ironman [my shameless Ironmen plug for the year] - and son of Indians radio broadcaster Tom Hamilton - Nick Hamilton).
