2012 Instructional League: Notebook Part 2
Yesterday I provided my first notebook recapping my visit to Arizona last week for Instructional League and the Arizona Fall League. If you missed it, you can find it here.
As I mentioned yesterday, I spent most of last week seeing several games involving the Fall Instructional League (FIL) team, the Arizona Parallel League (AZPL) team, and Arizona Fall League (AFL). The FIL team is constructed of mostly first and second year players from the last two drafts or recent Latin signings, the AZPL team is a more “advanced” team with players that are typically older and have been in the system for at least two years, and the AFL is made up of select players from the upper levels of the minors that are on the cusp of making it to the big leagues.
I spent a lot of time watching the FIL team since a great majority of those playing this fall were on that team. With that in mind, here is a second notebook...
