History: Sturdevant, 26, is a right-handed pitcher the Indians selected in the 27th round of the 2009 Draft out of New Mexico State University. He missed his sophomore season in 2007 at New Mexico State because he had an elbow injury which required Tommy John surgery. In ten appearances in the Arizona Fall League in the offseason he went 0-0 with a 3.00 ERA (12.0 IP, 11 H, 1 HR, 4 BB, 13 K).
