22. Chun-Hsiu Chen – Catcher Born: 11/01/1988 – Height: 6’1” – Weight: 200 – Bats: Right – Throws: Right
History: Chen, 23, is a catcher the Indians signed as a free agent in September of 2007 out of Taiwan. He was a third baseman and pitcher in Taiwan, but was converted to a catcher when he joined the organization. He played in MLB’s Futures Game over All Star weekend in 2010. Last season he had one of the top fielding percentages in the Eastern League and more impressively he had a .345 throw out percentage of base-stealers which was 3rd best in the league.
