History: Cook, 21, is a right-handed pitcher the Indians selected in the 9th round of the 2008 Draft out of Amarillo High School (TX). He had committed to playing at Oklahoma, but he signed with the Indians quickly and agreed to a signing bonus just over $100,000. He finished last season strong with two very good starts in the postseason going 1-1 with a 2.61 ERA (10.1 IP, 11 H, 6 BB, 10 K).
