With their 11th round pick in the 2012 MLB Draft the Cleveland Indians select outfielder Logan Vick out of Baylor University.
Birthdate: October 22, 1990--Height: 5'11"--Weight: 195 lbs--Bats: Left--Throws: Right
Ranks:
Jim's Quick Take: From watching a quick bit of video, this kid can play some outfield. He looks like he has some good speed, and has played some infield as well in his past. Just from looks, this kid reminds me a lot of Tyler Holt, but many scouts have him in that Kipnis-esque role...moving him to second base. Either way, he is a spark plug.
Extra info: First team All-Big 12 in 2012…Hit .344 with 25 2B, 2HR, 39RBI, 17 SB in 2012 (.436OB%).
