Glenn, what you are trying to do is going to be nearly impossible to do as almost any scout is not going to be able to allow you to shadow them. First off, because they don't know you and the info they report/see is confidential to them and their team, and also the team likely would not sign off on it. It's just hard to do something like this with a scout as that is something that takes years to build trust with a scout before it may even be done. Maybe someone will do it for you, but like I said, I don't see it happening. Your best bet may be to contact a team's main office and then see if they can put you into contact with someone to assist you. They may not be able to have you shadow someone, but there my be some alternatives they can come up with (though no guarantees on that either).
