Quick analysis: Goforth is a draft eligible sophomore having pitched in just two college seasons after being redshirted in 2008. Once again the Indians are avoiding the filler college senior easy signs and taking some gambles on guys who are a higher risk to sign. His fastball has been up to 95 MPH, but he seemed to struggle this year with a move to the starting rotation (1-6, 9.43 ERA) after pitching in the bullpen previously.
