Tony was born and raised in Northeast Ohio and has lived here all 38+ years of his life. Growing up he had always been a Cleveland sports fan, but he grew up with a passion for baseball since he was 5-years old. Since the turn of the century that passion for baseball has permeated the minor league baseball scene where with the numerous affiliates and future players of the Indians to follow, minor league baseball now rivals his love for Major League Baseball.
Tony has been writing about the Cleveland Indians and baseball since 2003 for various media outlets. In addition to this site he also currently does freelance work for the Cleveland Indians' cable TV network SportsTime Ohio, northeast Ohio newspaper The Ashtabula Star Beacon, and program features for the Lake County Captains. He is also the author of six books.
Tony is a cancer survivor and lives in Painesville Twp, Ohio with his wife Heather and two kids Nicholas and Alyssa.
