Steve Orbanek

Steve Orbanek graduated from Duquesne University in May 2010 with a bachelor's degree in print journalism. While at Duquesne, he spent two years as Sports Editor of the campus newspaper, The Duquesne Duke. Steve also recently earned his master's degree in Communications from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
Steve's first book, General McLane Athletics: Stories From the First 50 Years was released in December 2010 by Reedy Press and chronicled the sports history of an Edinboro area high school. A lifelong Indians fan, Steve currently works at Penn State-Behrend as the Program coordinator in their Office of Community and Workforce Programs and also works part time for the Erie Times-News. He currently resides in great city of McKean, PA with his fiance and their two hound dogs. Steve can be reached at orbaneks@gmail.com.
