Buehrle, Blue Jays shutout Indians, 5-0
It's not quiet Easter, but the Indians offense tallied for a big egg Saturday afternoon at Progressive Field. Backed by the arm of four-time All-Star Mark Buehrle, Toronto shutout the Tribe for the first time this season, 5-0, to take the first two games of the three game series. Small town country boy Merritt looking to make it big with Indians
Ryan Merritt may be a self-described “country boy” from a small town in Texas, but the talented left-hander has made a name for himself and now hopes to make it all the way to the big city of Cleveland. He is one of the Indians better young pitching prospects, and the IBI's Daniel Kale had a chance to sit down with him recently and get his thoughts on his career to date and where things go from here.

Masterson bounces back, Blue Jays edge Indians, 3-2
It wasn't a good Friday by any means for the Indians in their series opener with the Toronto Blue Jays. Loading up the bases with two out in the bottom of the ninth, the Tribe couldn't deliver any walk-off magic, as they fell in a frustrating loss to Toronto, 3-2. Second Thoughts Game #15: Indians 5, Tigers 7
Despite the efforts of Michael Brantley and Lonnie Chisenhall, the Indians could not overcome the pitching woes of Danny Salazar and the bullpen on Thursday. Even though the Indians managed to make Justin Verlander work during five innings, the Tiger bullpen came in and held the lead as they split the brief two-game series in Motown. 2014 MLB Draft: Big Board 1.0
The IBI's Jeff Ellis has gone on record saying that he is a big fan of this year’s draft. It is partially because last years had so little depth, but it is because to him this is the deepest draft in years. The Indians have three picks in the Top 40 and four picks in the Top 65, so they stand a chance to get a lot of talent this season. Jeff has put together his first Big Board of the draft season with rankings and reports on the top 41 players in the draft.

2014 IBI Top 10 Indians International prospects
For the first time the Indians top International prospect listing is being posted to the IBI site. Previously only available in his book, the IBI's Tony Lastoria is providing a portion of the best young International prospects the Indians have which many have never seen or heard about. These are the top International players like Leandro Linares, Yandy Diaz, Yu-Chen Chang and so on who are coming stateside for the first time this year or in the near future for the Indians who were not included in the Top 50 or Top 100 listing because they are so new to the organization where they have not played a game or have not really been seen.
