Peavy and Konerko lead White Sox to 3-1 victory
Chicago starter Jake Peavy kept the Cleveland bats quiet for seven innings and Paul Konerko hit a two-run home run off Brett Myers as the White Sox beat the Indians 3-1 in the Sunday finale of a three-game series. Peavy looked like he might run into trouble after center fielder Michael Bourn hit his first pitch of the game into the visitor's bullpen, putting the Indians up 1-0, but

Second Thoughts Game #10: Indians 9, White Sox 4
Zach McAllister, Nick Swisher and Mark Reynolds led the Cleveland Indians to a 9-4 victory over Chris Sale and the Chicago White Sox, winning their second game in a row, and bringing their record to an even .500 on the season. The revitalized starting pitching has carried them far in the series against the White Sox, and they'll look to sweep in Sunday's tilt at Progressive Field. Around the Farm: April 13, 2013
Trevor Bauer was somewhat underwhelming when he made his debut with the Indians last week, but on Saturday, the right-hander made his first start for the Columbus Clippers, and it was a dandy. Bauer was not the only player to impress Saturday night though as Quincy Latimore, the player the Indians acquired in Jeanmar Gomez trade, put together a perfect performance at the plate. Join the IBI's Steve Orbanek as he recaps these performances and more as he takes you Around the Farm.

Reynolds, McAllister lead Tribe to 9-4 win
On Friday, the Indians did it with pitching. But on Saturday, they did it with a little bit of both. Mark Reynolds drove in five runs and Zach McAllister had a strong performance on the mound to lead the Indians to a 9-4 win over the Chicago White Sox. Join the IBI's Nathan Kemp as he recaps all the action from what proved to be a very exciting Indians win.

Lake County offers Sisco a chance at a new beginning
The minor leagues are all about learning and development. New beginnings are a constant and for Cleveland Indians’ starter Jake Sisco, new beginnings are occurring both on and off the field. Sisco, 22, was the Indians’ third-round pick of the 2011 draft and is pitching in the starting rotation for Low-A Lake County, and according to the IBI's Stephanie Metzger has a chance to start over this season after a tough year last year.

Around The Farm: April 12, 2013
For the first time in a while, there were no rainouts on the farm and every team was in action. The return to action was not pretty for everyone, as Daisuke Matsuzaka and the Lake County defense struggled mightily. There were some positives, though, like the late-game heroics from Chun Chen for the Aeros and more power from Bryson Myles. Join Arthur Kinney as he navigates it all and goes Around The Farm.

Second Thoughts Game #9: White Sox 0, Indians 1
There aren’t many starting pitchers, let alone aces in Major League Baseball who are pitching much better than Justin Masterson right now. Plus, Cleveland's back to their winning ways after a dramatic walk-off win. Join Jake Dungan as he gives his Second Thoughts, after the jump...

Orbiting Cleveland: Attendance woes linger
As usual, the Cleveland Indians drew a sellout crowd to the home opener on Monday as 41,567 fans came to Progressive Field excited about the start to what could be a very exciting year. Yet on Tuesday, that number was down all the way to 12,663. The number becomes even worse to look at when you realize the Indians were playing the New York Yankees. So what's the deal with the Tribe's attendance woes? Join the IBI's Steve Orbanek as he touches on them in this week's edition of Orbiting Cleveland.

Around the Farm: April 11, 2013
It was a quiet night all around in the Indians system as the rain in the midwestern and eastern areas of the United States resulted in rainouts in Cleveland and Columbus, and Lake County's game was called after six innings. But there was still plenty to talk about from Thursday's minor league action, and Tony steps in with some thoughts on several of the performances on the night.
